"मराठी फ्रेजा" अर्थात इंग्रजी म्हणींचे मराठीत रूपांतर - २७ फेब्रुवारी

भाषा आणि त्या प्रदेशाची संस्कृती यांचे घट्ट नाते असते. ते नाते ठळकपणे दाखवतात त्या भाषेतल्या म्हणी आणि वाक्प्रचार. हे शब्दसमुह आपल्याला शहाणपणाच्या गोष्टी सांगतात आणि त्या सांगताना त्या प्रदेशातील अनेक संदर्भ त्यात येत असतात. तर आपल्याला खेळ खेळायचाय या म्हणींचा.

आम्ही तुम्हाला इंग्रजी म्हणी देऊ आणि तुम्ही त्याचे मराठी रुपांतर करायचे आहे. लक्षात ठेवा रुपांतर ! भाषांतर नव्हे ! सगळे शब्द आणि संदर्भ अस्सल मराठमोळे असायला हवेत.

एका वेळी एका संचात ५ म्हणी दिल्या जातील. तुम्हाला तुमच्या प्रतिसादात त्या म्हणींचे रूपांतर लिहायचे आहे. जमल्यास सर्व पाचही म्हणींचे रुपांतर एका प्रतिसादात सुद्धा तुम्ही लिहू शकता.

तुमचे रुपांतर चटपटीत शब्दांत असायला हवे - अगदी म्हणींसारखे.
उदा. A penny saved is a penny earned
दमडी वाचली कमाई झाली.

संयोजक, एकदम पाच म्हणींचं रूपांतर सुचेलच असं नाही, तेव्हा जसं सुचेल तसं लिहायची सूट द्यावी कृपया. आकडे तुम्ही देताच आहात.

धन्यवाद. मला असं काही दिसलं की अगदी सहन होत नाही. लग्गेच फडशा. त्यामुळे आता दर पाच मिनिटांनी मायबोली बघणार.
असे खेळ न दिलेलेच बरे संयोजकांनी. आमच्यासारख्या सायको लोकांना मग दुसरं काही सुचत नाही.
