Yuvrajshekhar Tuesday, April 25, 2006 - 10:31 am:      मि. राहूल फाटक चाची४२० हा चांगला चित्रपट आहे पण हेराफेरी इतका निश्चीतच नाही आणि माझ्या मते कॉमेडी चित्रपटांमध्ये बाप चित्रपट म्हणजे आमिर खान,सलमान खानचा अंदाज अपना अपना, अगदी सुरूवातीपासून शेवट पर्यंत फक्त कॉमेडी, त्यातले काही डायलॉग नुसते आठवले तरी हसायला येतं.मला वाटते की माझ्या मताशी बरेच जण सहमत असतील.

Nimisssshhh Friday, June 16, 2006 - 5:47 am:      Movie Review– Tathastu by Nimish Sonar In recent times, this is among the few films, whose title is apt for the story. It is the story of a mill worker who, without having sufficient money for the operation, gives his son a heart transplantation if only coincidently. So it is a "Wish-Come-True" like story. So, Tathastu. Come to the story. It seems that the story is little bit inspired by Marathi film "Shwaas.” Sanjay Dutt is a mill worker who is told that his only son has a weak heart. The doctor tells him that if he wants to see his son alive, an operation costing 15 lacs would need to be done. He has to organize the money in two days or his son would die. He tries with the LIC Office and his own mill to collect the money but could not. Here comes the Crying-Girl, Ameesha Patel ( Wife of sanju ), almost screaming ( so irritatingly that you will surely want to go out of the theatre for that particular moment ) and asks Sanjay to collect money by "any means" and she wants her son back at any cost ( i.e. Rs 15 lacs ) So what next? What does Sanjubaba do? He hires a pistol and manages to keep some patients as hostages. Why ? Do the Operation for free or I will kill all these patients !!! Now comes the twist in tale! A Swamiji is also admitted in the same hospital (For Pune Guys : The hospital is Mphasis Building in kalyaninagar) and the hospital has only one spare heart. If Swamiji will not be operated, the party will collapse. Meanwhile, all the media persons , police, commandos gather outside. Till Sanjay gets an assurance from the police that the docs will do the operation for free, he solves the personal problems of the hostages. (Here, the story again reminds us of Munnabhai MBBS ) Finally, he is told that his son's operation has started. Then follows high drama, histrionics and action. Barring Ameesha, the movie is decent. There are no songs, no exposing, and no violence in the film. So go watch the film if only for a different story line and Sanjay's performance. Nimish N. Sonar

Abhishruti Friday, August 18, 2006 - 12:54 pm:      चित्रपट कसा नसावा याचं उत्तम उदाहरण म्हणजे 'कभी अल्विदा ना कहना'! एकतर २२ रीलचा सिनेमा बघायचा आता जमानाच नाही त्यात तेव्हढ्या वेळात तो मुव्ही कुठेच मनाची पकड घेत नाही. सगळे फ़ेमस कलाकार, भव्य सेट्स, कपडे, गाणी that's it! शाहरुख खानला तर बघवत नाही, एकतर म्हातारा दिसलाय आणि नेहमीप्रमाणे सॅडिस्ट रोल! rather preity is also looking old . अमिताभला वगळता मला हा मुव्ही वाईट्ट बोअर झाला. आणि moral of the story is : empty mind devil's workshop असच वाटलं

Swapnil_khole Monday, February 05, 2007 - 9:19 am:      चित्रपट कसा असावा याबाबत कित्येकांची बरीच मते असतील. पण माझ्या मते सगळ्यात महत्वाचे म्हणजे चित्रपटच्या कथानकात दम असला पाहिजे. मग येते दिग्दर्शन, निर्मितीमूल्ये, संगीत, अक्टिंग, सिनेमटोग्राफ़ी, डान्स ई. या सर्व गोष्टी ठीक असल्या तर चित्रपट चांगला.
