You have to take parents insurance in India only. You can not purchase their insurance here, as they are on Tourist visa. If your parents are in perfect health, then think whether the insurance is really required? You have to pay INR 22,000 per head for their insurance. Also even if they are insured, you have to pay all the medical charges upfront from ur pocket here in US$, and then you have to make claims back in India. Also routine tests (eg blood sugar etc) are not covered in Insrance. In India New India Insurance sells these policies. You can also visit www.G1G.com.
Hope this helps. If you have any specific questions, let me know. My father was here for 6 months, and as he is a diabetic patient I purchased his insurance in India only.

marathi Bride Groome wears in his wedding... and if there are any shops who cater to this taste... anywhere in Maharashtra will do.

The so called Traditional dresses which we get in shops like sherwani, band-gala, aangarkha..etc are typically north-Indian...
does not reflect marathi culture...
I was also trying to find out any liturature(online or books etc) available which depicts the history of traditional marathi wedding dresses for males and how the culture changed over the time. But I
did not had much luck.... suggestions are
welcome!
BTW, does anybody knows what Peshwas wore for their marraigaes... trying to find out how rich a marathi wedding can be!! ;)
