I am planning to get my parents visit us in summer and looking for some reliable travel agent to book tickets from. I have checked yatra.com, makemytrip.com, travelocity.co.in They have very comparable prices, makemytrip being the cheapest. I have never got any ticket from them so have no idea about their reliability.
Does anyone have suggestion about these online travel agents or other online-offline (Mumbai & Pune only) travel agents?

All of them are absolutely reliable.Or go to Girikand travels /they are reliable,helpfu and symathetic to typical needs of first time travellers

One interesting thing to Note..
Computerised Sites चांगल्याच असतात, पण गोंधळ झाला तर मात्र निस्तरणे कठिण.. उदा..
मी New York हून Continental ने London आणि, तिथुन Gulf ने भारतात चाललो आहे. परताचा प्रवास तसाच आहे. New York वरून निघणारी Continental ची Flight उशीरा निघते (पाऊस, Air Traffic काहीतरी कारणाने)... मी London ला २ तास उशीरा पोहोचतो. Gulf ची Flight निघून जाते.
Gulf वाले मला No-Show म्हणून Mark करतात आणि माझा London-Mumbai च काय तर परतीचा प्रवास Mumbai-London पण Automatically Cancel करून टाकतात...
मी Gulf च्या Counter वर गेलो की ते Continental कडे बोट दाखवतात... आणि मी Continental कडे गेलो की Gulf कडे. अश्यावेळी तुम्हाला हवा असतो Human Operator पण तुम्ही MakeMyTrip किंवा तत्सम Travel-Agency कडून तिकिट काढल्याने तुम्हाला तो मिळणे अशक्य...
तेव्हा अशी तिकिटे काढत असताना एकच Airline असलेली काढा, नाहीतर मग नशीबावर विश्वास ठेवा...

@Vinay, first time I traveled to DC on 4 different airlines (KLM-United, Lufthansa-SAS) but good thing was all were code shared so I didn't have to worry. I checked through while going to DC so no worries. On my return flight, the agent told me that he has checked me in but I will get boarding pass at the gate. Once I am at the gate, I gate boarding pass only till Frankfurt (and what next?) The guy tells me, we can not check into their system so get your next pass at Frankfurt. On the top of that United had luggage issues (placed Frankfurt luggage in next door Amsterdam flight) so they started 2 hours late. I was really worried if I will make it but thankfully we made it an hour late at Frankfurt.
The funniest part is, Europeans can get into American system but not vice-versa and I started wondering if thats really possible!!
But this is really good suggestion not to fly on non-code shared flights

I wrote Girikand Travels about a week ago requesting availability and airfare on certain sector. They haven't replied me yet. Looks like very Punekar style of business to me. I would recommend travelocity.co.in, makemytrip.com or ezeego1.com
I haven't used any of them but I don't think Girikand is going to offer any extra features over them. At least I don't have to wait for 7 days to get a reply.

I am not sure which Girikand travels you are refering.
But Girikand Travels, Nagpur are very helpful people and their rates are good too.
They did issue us a ticket on credit over email. (I paid them the ticket fare after the travel date.)
