Bepositive खरे आहे तुमचे. तिथे चांगले चांगले विनोद लिहिले जातात. पण तिथे विनोदांचा एवढा पाऊस पडत असतो की अर्काईव्ह करता करता पुरेवाट व्हायची. म्हणून कदाचित तो BB अर्काईव्ह केला जात नसावा.
त्यापेक्षा आपल्याला आवडलेले विनोद आपण नोट करून ठेवायचे. मी असेच करतो. तुम्हाला बघा आवडतेय का असे करायला.

do mods have any thoughs of setting up any Wiki site for maayboli?
this can help a lot to everyone. we have huge information on hitguj, but its very hard to search anything, because of extra comments and timepass. or either it is present in parts.
People can put the compiled infromation frommaayboli, after the discussions is over to the Wiki. such as good jokes, movie reviews, product information, interesting discussions, poems, stories, blah blah. Wiki can give access to all the INFORMATION without extra comments easily. and it has these nic features of automatically parcing the contents and generating hyperlinks to existing documents, which can act as quick reference.
I'll suggest http://twiki.org , take a look at http://en.wikipedia.org its so easy to search anything there. there is marathi wikipedia, but I think that is not really the place for discussion on maayboli.
P.S.
You know what, I'll set up wiki on my laptop and send you the URL which you can take a look at and think if we should have wiki for us.

माणूस, मायबोलीवरची माहीती Wiki सारख्या दुसर्‍या वेबसाईट वर ठेवुन मायबोलीला काय फ़ायदा होणार आहे? एखादी गोष्ट मायबोलीवर सापडत नसेल तर मायबोलीमध्येच अधिक चांगल्या तर्‍हेने वर्गीकरण किंवा शोधण्याच्या सुविधेमध्ये सुधारणा करता येईल. सगळ्या विषयांवरच्या प्रतिक्रिया काढुन महत्वाचा भाग ठेवणे हे काम तितके सोपे नाही. तरी शक्य होईल तसे माॅडरेटर्स ते काम करत असतात.
दुसरे म्हणजे मायबोलीवरच्या मजकूरावर संबंधित लेखकाचा हक्क असतो, त्यामुळे दुसर्‍या ठिकाणी ती माहीती त्या लेखकाच्या परवानगीशिवाय copy करता येणार नाही.

तरी मला /wiki अशी url बघायला आवडली असती, data & information मधे जो फरक असतो तो जानवेल.
चला आता laptop ला थोडी विश्रांती देतो, लै वेळ चालु आहे ह्या wiki च्या नादात.

कलंदर मला असे वाटते की wiki चे software मायबोलीवर आणून ते मायबोलीने वापरावे असे माणूस सुचवत आहेत.

सुचनेबद्दल धन्यवाद. मायबोलीवर वापरात असलेले software इथला वाढता पसारा पहाता पुरे पडत नाही याची कल्पना आहे आणि नविन software चा शोध चालू आहे. विशेषतः वर्गीकरण करणे अवघड होते आहे. आता wiki सारखे अनेक open source program आहेत. पण होते काय की एकदा मायबोलीच्या आवाक्याचा निकष लावला तर त्या program ला लागणारी साधने (memory, bandwidth,CPU) आपल्याकडे नाहीत. beyond a certain limit wiki can be very resource hungry
मागे एकदा किल्लेदार यानी मायबोलीला एक उपमा दिली होती, बागेची. मी थोडा बदल करुन शेताची उपमा देतो.
शेत लहान होतं तेंव्हा बैलाचा नांगर चालत होता.
आता एवढ्या मोठ्या शेताला तो अपुरा पडतोय.
बरोबर आहे आता ट्रॅक्टरची गरज आहे. आणि तुम्ही तर मायबोलीसाठी फुकट मिळणारा ट्रॅक्टर सुद्धा शोधला. इतर पण बर्‍याच प्रकारचे ट्रॅक्टर आहेत.
पण काय आहे त्या ट्रॅक्टरला लागेल तेव्हडं इंधन आपल्याकडे नाही.
आपल्या शेताची जमीन खूपच सुपीक आहे आणि पीक पण भरपूर आले आहे.
मग तुम्ही म्हणाल, अडलं कुठे? पीक विकून इंधन घ्या.
त्याचं काय आहे आपलं सगळं पीक आहे गावरान ज्वारीचं. आहे खूप चविष्ट. पण बाहेर लोकाना अजून त्याची चव माहीती नाही.
बाजारपेठेत लोकाना हवा आहे इंग्लिश मका.
आणि हे सगळे ट्रॅक्टर पण बनवले आहेत ते त्या इंग्लिश मक्याची मशागत करण्यासाठी. फार फार तर इटालियन टोमॅटो आणि जर्मन बटाट्यासाठी. पण मराठी ज्वारीचं पीक काढताना मधेच कधी बंद पडेल सांगता येत नाही.
म्हणजे आपण गप्प बसलो आहोत असे नाही. पण आपल्याला इंधनखर्च पेलेल आणि आपल्या मातीत चालेल अशा ट्रॅक्टरचा शोध चालू आहे. (अगदी जोरात चालू आहे)
