चारभिंतीवरील स्मारक.. या स्मारकावर १८५७ च्या उठावापासून ते स्वतंत्र भारताच्या घटना मंजूरीपर्यंत च्या काही महत्वाच्या ऐतिहासिक नोंदी कोरलेल्या आहेत.
दुर्दैवाने इतर अनेक ऐतिहासिक वारश्यांप्रमाणेच याचेसुद्धा नीट जतन होत नाहिये. त्यामुळेच महत्वाच्या ऐतिहासिक नोंदींबरोबर या स्मारकाला आताच्या "स्वतंत्र" भारताच्या सुजाण (?) नागरीकांनी केलेल्या स्वतःच्या उदात्त प्रेमच्या नोंदीसुद्धा मिरवाव्या लागतायत.

nice photos. I had also gone for that exhibition. Landscape gardens che paN 1-2 chaan namune hote tithe!
BTW, i have a doubt. Do digital camera have trouble capturing magenta coloured flowers? The magenta flowers in phdixit's photos actually look a bit different. Even i tried capturing some magenta coloured "ranfule" and the snaps came out very different from what i actually saw. phdixit, what camera did u use for these?

red and its hues are the most difficult to re-produce(browser, paper etc).
Then comes blue. Add these two and you get magenta, hmm !!
However, new cameras are quite capable of reproducing all the colors on a wheel. You need very good color management, work-flow and not rely on the camera to get everything right though.

प्रशांत, स्पर्धेचे निकाल जाहिर झालेले वाचले. तुझे विवेचन छान आहे प्रत्येक फ़ोटोवरचे. फोटोंची लिंक कुठेतरी असायला हवी होती कारण नुसते विवेचन वाचून काही मजा येत नाही तर समोर फ़ोटो बघून विवेचन वाचले तर ज्ञान आणि मनोरंजन दोन्ही उत्तम होते.
अभिजित, मी गांधीजींच्या फ़ोटोबद्दल लिहिले ते वाक्य. त्यादिवशी तसाही मी खूप सेन्टी मूड मधे वावरत होतो.. त्याचा परिणाम असेल कदाचित. :-)))
