( Adults and Pornography.)
On Television, "A" Certificate movies are banned and "U / A" and "U" are allowed , as per new Government rules and laws..
But, This will not make much difference. Because , there are other sources of pornography , easily available to teens from age 13 to 18, like :
Glossy Fashion magazines like Debonair, Internet, DVDs and CDs which can be viewed on Computer or CD / DVD player at friend's home,
or going to theatres to see the movie, or go to topless parties, discos, pubs, dance bars etc etc...
I do not think, such banning will make any difference.
I think in this modern age , the age group between 13 to 18 has become mature enough ( than in old times ) to know what is good and what is bad.
And one thing is that, ••• do not always need external stimulation, it may happen without any porn practice, by mutual consent.
Today, in some colleges, girls wear more obscene clothes than actresses wear in movies.
A report says that, in the age of 16 to 20, many teens experience ••• by "mutual consent" before marriages.
The reality about pre-marital & extra-marital •••, is far worse, than that shown in movies.
And if we are talking about affect of violence, pornography of movies on people, then, why it should be allowed for Adults also ?
Adults may also be affected from the over exposure of violence, porn and may lead to immoral deeds !
We should think over this point. The best remote control is our mind only.

अत्यंत चुकीचे वाक्य. तसे काही नाही. मोह असतो, नि तो टाळावा कसे हे भल्या भल्यांना कळत नाही, तर त्या लहान वयात काय?

हे अर्थातच खरे आहे.. पण, अतिरेक, विकृति या गोष्टींचा 'मोह' मात्र अगदी वयस्क किंवा अगदी लहान लोकांनाहि होतो. त्याचे गुन्ह्यात रूपांतर होऊ शकते.
जसे थोडी दारू प्यायली तर बरेच असते प्रकृतिला, पण जाहीरात करून, परत परत मोह पाडून एकदा लोकांना त्याचे व्यसन लावले की त्याचे सगळे दुष्परिणाम दिसतातच.
या गोष्टींतून कधी काही चांगले झाल्याचे ऐकिवात नाही!
तर जगात फार थोड्या लोकांना मोह आवरता येतो. इतरांना त्यापासून परावृत्त करायचे की त्यांचा फायदा घ्यायचा, रानटी लोकांसारखा?

absolutely right nimish! these things should not be allowed to adults also.

निमिष, हिंसा, अश्लीलता ह्या गोष्टींचा adults वरही तेवढाच परिणाम होतो. सगळी माणसं वयाने वाढतात. मनाने वाढतातच असे नाही.

I am not sure what your point is.
It seems that you believe self-policing is the only solution. Do you seriously believe that because the laws can not prevent all the potential avenues for exposure to porn or violence, that the legislative branch should do nothing at all? Are you saying that incremental measures are no good if we can not prevent or eliminate all exposure to violence or porn?
And what sort of discussion are you expecting here - a discussion of your article or a discussion of this issue ?

वा, वा, शूनू. माझ्या मते कुठलाही BB उघडल्यावर त्याच्या पहिल्या पोस्टिंगवर प्रतिक्रिया लिहिण्यापूर्वी, ह्या प्रश्नाचे उत्तर, BB चालू करणार्‍याकडून घेतलेच पाहिजे. नाहीतर मग उगाच वाद वाढत जातो. शिवाय आता, discussion of the issue असे उत्तर असेल तर मला नाही वाटत, प्रत्येकाला एकदा किंवा दोनदा पेक्षा जास्त काही लिहावे लागेल.
