इथे काय लिहावे हा खरच एक प्रश्न आहे. यक्षप्रश्न म्हणण्याएवढे मोठे असे काहीच नाहिये. options बरेच आहेत. दिवसाभरतल्या घडामोडिंशी संबंधित काही लिहावे कि आधी ठरवून काही लिहायचे आपणच काहितरी खरडत जायचय कि हि जागा कोणाला तरी भाड्याने द्यावी टवाळक्या क्रण्यासाठी वापरू कि उगाच अभिव्यक्तीच्या नावाखाली काहितरी अनाकलनिय बरळावे शेवटी personal BB म्हटल्यावर तेव्हढे स्वातंत्र्य तर मिळालेले आहे. 
बघुया काही सदुपयोग करता येतो का किंवा तुम्हाला कोणाला काही सुचले अणि लिहावेसे वाटले तर मला mail टाका

Go Pats go .... wow, I do not understand delicacies of the rules but whatever took place on field yesterday was way fierce. However, the way pats played, was simply superb. It demanded throughout overall excellence. They did it in style, keeping cool heads and rising above challenge, everytime asked for, just like the champions do.

महान ह्याशिवाय मलातरी दुसरा अचूक शब्द ह्या चपखल टिप्पणीबद्दल सूचत नाही. लोकसत्तामधे वाचण्याजोग्या ज्या काहि थोड्याफ़ार ( कि फ़ार थोड्या ?) गोष्टी उरल्या आहेत त्यातली हि एक.

लहानपणी आम्हा भावंडांमधे ' आपली ' लोकसत्ता वाचण्यावरून एव्हढी खडाजंगी होत असे कि बाबांनी दोन आव्रुत्त्या घ्यायला सुरू केले होते. अस्मादिक सूर्यवंशी असल्यामूळे आमची पहाट (???) नव्या पेपरच्या वासाने दरवळलेली असे. भावाला सकाळचे classes असत म्हणून तो पेपर shower च्या मागे लावून block reading करत असे. माझ्या दैनंदिनीतला 75% वेळतरी फक्त पेपर वाचण्यामधे जात असे, background ला आईचे " अरे आवर " हा static असे. वाचनाची सुरूवात ही मुखप्रुष्ठवरच्या बातम्या चाळण्यापासून होत असे. पण त्यावेळी हि sting operations etc नसल्यामूळे त्यासुद्धा दर दिवशी आदल्या दिवशीच्या पेपरमधून उचलल्यासारख्या वाटत आणी गाडी लगेच मलप्रुष्टाकडे जात असे. sports. हे पान अथपासून इतिपर्यंत वाचले जाई नि संपूर्ण पेपर मग उलट चाळत अग्रलेखच्या पानावर आली कि गाडी ठिय्या मारून बसत असे. सकाळच्या चहाबरोबर माधव गडकर्यांचा अग्रलेख वाचल्याशिवय दिवसाची सुरूवात झाल्यासारखे वाटत नसे. वाचकांचा पत्रव्यवहार वाचणे हि निखळ करमणूक होती. मग स्थानिक वार्ता वाचत गाडी प्रुष्ठ क्रमांक दोन वर येत असे, नाटके आणि सिनेमाच्या जाहिराती बघणे . शुक्रवारी नव्या ads मिळत. गुरूवारी नाटक नि शुक्रवारी movie चा review असे. नाटक सिनेमाचे timings बघून advance मधे phone करून book केले कि एकदम तीर मारल्यासारखे वाटत असे खरे.
का कोण जाणे मटा लोकसत्तीव्हढा कधी भावला नाही. त्याचे थोरले भावंडे ToI वाचणे मात्र मेजवानी असायची. अर्थत सध्या toi पण मटाच्या पंक्तीला येउन बसला आहे. सामना सुरू झाला तेंव्हा मोठ्या उत्साहामधे " आपले " म्हणून वाचायचो खरा, पण तेंव्हाचा सामना नि आजचा सामना ह्यात काडीमात्र फ़रक नाही. संपादक कोणीही असो , बातमी कशाबद्दलही असो , तीच भाषा , तोच बाज. लोकसत्तेचाही layout बदलत गेला नि त्याच बरोबर बरेच काही इतरही बदलून गेले.
सांज दैनिक हा प्रकार माझ्या पलीकडे होता. सकाळच्या पेपराची सर कधी त्याला आलीच नाही. नाही म्हणायला आपला एक mid-day रोज घेतला जात होता. कारणे दोन एक त्यातले crosswords सोडवणे नि दुसरे अर्थात mid-day mates  माटुंगा ते बांद्र्या पर्यंत mid day mate बघून झाली कि पुढच्या प्रत्येक station पर्यंत crossword मधले अमके अमके शब्द सोडवून झाले पाहिजेत अशा तर्हेने आमची race चालत असे. अर्थात गाडी late होणे हा extra time असे
asian age सुरू झाला तेंवा अतिशय वाचनिय असे. त्यातल्या finance section भन्नाट असे. सध्या मिळतो का तेही माहित नाही. मधे मधे finanacial times वाचण्याचा प्रय्त्न केला नि सोडून दिला. त्यातल्या news first class च्या दब्यातल्या सतोडिया नि दलालांच्या वटवटिची आठवण करून देत.
छापिल पेपर वाचणे हा एक भरगच्च अनुभव आहे. e-paper ला ती सर नाही. प्रत्येक दिवशी एका ठरावीक वेळी बसून " काल काय झाले " ह्याची एक झलक बघणे नी सतत updated site बघणे ह्यात खरतर तुलना नाही. आजच्या बातम्या दुसर्या दिवशीपर्यंत थोड्याशा शिळ्या झाल्या असल्या तरीही त्या अनुभवाची ( कि आठवणींची ??) सर इतर कशाला नाही.
काहि दिवसांपूर्वी कुठलेसे frequent flyer miles संपवायला wall street journal सुरू केले. mail मधे आलेला पेपर हातात घेतला नी सगळी संध्याकाळ एकदम कोरा पेपरच्या वासाने घमघमली.

गेले काही दिवस मला Rob Thomas च्या Streetcorner Symphony ने वेडे केलय. ABC वर ads मधे पहिल्यांदा ऐकली त्या क्षनापासून भुरळ पडली आहे. wordings पन अफलातून आहेत. तुम्ही ऐकली आहे का ? नसेल तर google and do listen
