Isn't BMI = Jet Airways? British Midlands and Jet Airways share the code, if my knowledge is right.
If this BMI stands for British Midlands then don't worry, its a good airline, certinaly better than Aeroflot or Air Kiev etc.

It should be okay. Only if you share the code with some other airline (i.e. you do the BMI booking and travel by other code-share flight), they are not at all reliable. somehow their systems drop the passenger details.
Since you are travelling direct, you should get a good service.
