how about veg biryani? fast and easy :) 1 cup rice 1/2 cup peas, 1/4 cup chopped carrots, 10-12 french beans, 1/2 cup red or green pepper. 1 medium onion, 1 tsp ginger/garlic paste few cloves, pepper corns, bay leaf, green cardomom. wash and drain the rice, slice onions. telawar, garam masala taka, and fry the sliced onions, put in the ginger/garlic paste . add the rice, and partun ghya, till rice starts sticking to the vessel. add the veggies. add salt. a bit of tikhat or garam masala, and 2cups water. cook till done.

Thode mataar ani french beans pan ukadun thevayache. 1 vaateecha bhaat tayar karun thevayacha. Mokla hou dyaycha. Mag telaat kanada partun tyaat bajaraat milto to biryanicha masala ghalne ani tomato gravy, matar beans mix karayachya. Tyaat meeth ani tikhat andajane ghalayche, Mag tyaatach soyache che gole panyatum kadhun panee changle tyatun dabun kadhayche ani mx karayache, He ase mishran thoda vel ukalu dyayache vatle tar thode panee ghatle taree harkat nahee. Tya soyachya golynmadhye mhanje gravy changlee mix hote. Thodee gravy bajula thevalee tar utaam. Mag nonstick kadhaila khalee tup lavyache ani tyaat bhatacha ek layer karaycha tyavar gravy pasryache ani parat ek bhatach ani ek layer gravy cha ase karayche. Ani mand acchevar zakan ghalun thevyche sadhran 7/8 minutes. Garam hot astanaach tyaat thode dudh ghalayche. Hyaane ek vegalaach swaad teyo. Mag hee birynanee ani gravy ase dyaave, Tep: Soyache he gole kuthlyahee bhajeechya gravy madhye chaan lagtaat.

Anyway here is one easy recipe of Veg biryani - 4 cups cooked rice with couple of bay leaves, 3 cups mixed vegetables, 4 tablespoon oil, 1 tsp ginger paste, 1 tsp garlic paste, 1 onion (minced fine), ½ cup cilantro (chopped), ¼ cup mint, 2-3 tsp garam masala, ½ cup yogurt or sour cream(optional), ¼ cup raisins (fried), ¼ cup nuts (fried), ¼ cup onion (fried till crisp) Make a puree of onion, cilantro and mint in a blender with as little water as possible. Keep aside. In a thick-bottomed pan heat oil and add ginger-garlic paste. Stir for a minute. Then add the onion-mint-cilantro puree. Keep your face averted as you do this. Stir on medium heat for 8-10 minutes until the raw flavor disappears. (You can overcook this mix, but never undercook it! Just take my word for this!) Add garam masala and yogurt or sour cream. Remove from heat. Mix in the vegetables and keep aside. Take a big baking dish and layer the vegetable mix, rice, fried onions, nuts and raisins. Repeat twice. You can bake this for 10 mins in oven at 350 degree oven or instead of baking dish make layers in a heavy bottom vessel and put it on low heat for 10 min -- steam will start coming out.. ENJOY !!! Some more suggestion cut vegetables in big chunks - almost same size. and if you are using mint don't use saffron else you can add pinch of saffron in the rice while it's cooking. Bhat mokala shijav.

Hi Friends, This is the recipe of " Masoor Biryani " Masoor ratrabhar panyat soak karavet. Nantar kami pani ghalun cooker madhe shijavun ghyavet. tyanantar toopavar kanda,ala-lasun paste ani tomato garam masal, chilli powder ect ghalun masoorachi usal karun ghyavi. andajane tandul gheun toopavar khada masala ghalun mokala bhat shijaun ghya. Nantar biryanila karato tase layers karun oven madhe kivva stove top var 20 min ghatta zakan laun bake karave. Layers madhe fried onion ani fried kaju ghalavet. Beleive me it turns out really tasty. konatihi uraleli usal vaparata yeil. One more variation, bake karayala thevtana, bhandyachya budala tupacha haat laun, batatyachya chakatya pasaravyat. khup chhaan lagatat.
