Egg n cheese sandwich - Dunking Donuts fame

1 Croissant
1 Egg
1 Cheese slice
Salt, pepper

Croissant is the "Chandrakor" shaped bread. It's flaky in nature but not as flaky as "Biscuit" bread.

1. Give a 3/4 horizontal cut to the Croissant. It should look like an open jaw after the cut.
2. Keep it in a microwaveable plate.
3. Open the jaw and pour a raw egg into it.
4. Close the jaw and press it so that the egg gets spread. Make sure the egg yellow is spread, otherwise the sandwich will be too dry with a lump of egg yellow.
4. Keep the plate in M/W for 30 sec. at High.
5. Take out the plate. Open the jaw and add a slice of cheese. Making 2 equal halves of the slice is a better option.
6. Microwave for 30 sec. at High.
7. Take out the Plate. Open the jaw and sprinkle salt and pepper for taste.

This is basic recipe. You can add ketchup, Mayo, grated veggies etc. towards the end. I used to love it with Hot Mustard.

I miss this in India. Do we get Croissant in Mumbai?
